Main engines: One of the engines is said to be new in 2017 and the other is said to be new rebuild with no year recorded The reported engine hours are very low. It is believed that these are in fact low hour engines, but their history of rebuild and/or replacement is not established by any available documentation. I do know that all of the machinery, with the exception of fire fighting equipment, is run and tested on a regular basis.

This is a professionally constructed vessel of welded black steel and aluminum built by Halter Marine of New Orleans in 1989. She is of hard chine construction with full keel, raked stem, with a radius ramp stern and five watertight bulkheads.
Layout; forward is the collision bulkhead and storage area below deck. Forward on deck is the anchor winch & forward fire monitor which is protected by a low wave break. Next aft are the fire hose and foam hose manifolds. All doors that present to the sea are watertight. She is rigged as a day boat with no overnight crew quarters . She has on deck a small enclosed head & galley that contains a fridge & electric stove with settee.
Next, up a steel staircase leads to the top house which contains the bridge with all controls and electronics, and 2 helm stations. The 3rd helm station is on the aft deck. Down a steel staircase leads to the engine room with two (2) 1400hp DD-V16 each driving a Goulds fire pump producing 1,250 GPM, two (2) DD371 generators, driving 50KW 3-phase 460v alternators and two (2) electrically driven air compressors.
Aft on deck is the stern ramp designed for hauling a skiff or small vehicle, two (2) large fire monitors, and the aft control station. The aft deck mounts a small 2 ton electric crane to starboard of the ramp. The entire aft deck is self bailing and features steel hand rails.

6 VIRTUAL TOURS - 2 VIDEO - 155 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS & BROKER'S COMMENTS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS COMMERCIAL 110' UTILITY VESSEL!
This Utility Vessel appears to be fully operational. The fire fighting system has not been tested following its recent launching after extensive detail in a local boat yard. The engines are very low hours and all of the vast array of machinery appears clean and serviceable. All of the surfaces are well painted and make a positive first impression. The owners' intended purpose has changed and they no longer have plans for their use of this boat. This after months of preparation for use in the Aleutian Islands! Note again that the fire pumps have not been currently operated or tested. This boat is a very good candidate for a utility vessel or a commercial conversion for charter work, whale watching, or marine research.
