Broker's Comments

Rarely do boats grace the market with the level of presentation exhibited by this Contest 31 HT. It is a delight to introduce such a lovingly maintained vessel to prospective buyers.

The Contest 31 HT stands as one of Contest's most successful models, with 252 units crafted between 1972 and 1983. This particular model is distinguished by the less common combination of a tiller and deep keel. The boat boasts exceptional cruising capabilities and resilience in challenging weather conditions.

With seven years of dedicated care, investment, and meticulous attention to detail, this vessel has undergone a series of recent upgrades, detailed within this advert. Renowned for its superior construction, refined interior, and impressive sailing performance, the Contest 31 HT epitomizes quality cruising. The overall presentation of this particular yacht is a testament to the current owner's dedication to her.

The boat is currently afloat on an easily accessible marina berth, she will remain lightly used and maintained accordingly through the sales process.

For those intrigued by the name, "Elft" translates to "Allis Shad" (alosa alosa) A type of Herring in Dutch, reflecting its nautical heritage.

We welcome inquiries via phone or email for further details on this lovely yacht.
