The President 37 Sundeck is an aft cabin raised sundeck cruiser which offers a lot of interior space , solid teak joinery, and large windows for panoramic views. The hull is a modified V, which culminates in hard chines allowing for a shallow draft for a boat its size.

Wide side decks offer ease and safety moving forward or aft when docking or pulling fenders.

The sundeck and upper helm are completely enclosed with canvas (which is in very nice condition) and large isinglass windows, offering excellent visibility and comfort for year round cruising. The upper helm is equipped with electronics and controls for navigation with plenty of seating for guests The full-width sundeck is just three steps down. You have easy access to the foredeck via side canvas doors or to the main salon through the wide sliding door.

Entering the salon, you are greeted with warm teak throughout the interior . The salon is open, with a new couch. There is a TV mounted on the starboard side opposite the couch. The lower helm is on the starboard side but the owner preferred to operate the boat from the upper station. Compartments, a magazine rack, chart storage and drawers surround the salon.

The U-shaped galley and dinette are forward and down three steps. Located to port is the dinette which converts to an additional berth. To starboard is the galley with a Princess three-burner electric stove with oven, side-by-side stainless steel sink, a large Norcold fridge w/freezer (110v & 12V) and a Kenmore microwave. Also there is additional storage underneath the floor hatches in bins.

Forward of the galley is the guest stateroom and ensuite head (with private access to the stateroom). The berths are non-traditional bunks over/under with a small settee. Built-in bookshelves, drawers/hanging locker and space under the bunks provide additional storage. The head compartment includes an electric flush toilet, sink and shower wand.

The Master stateroom with head is aft under the sundeck. it has a large island double ( hinged for easy access to the water heater and water tank) . An electric "fireplace " adds both ambience and warmth. Hanging lockers, drawers and bookshelves surround the stateroom. The head has a separate shower, sink and electric head, to port.

Broker's Comments

This boat was purchased by its current owner in September 2024 and placed into its present moorage. Good news for a new owner is that live-aboard moorage is available after a year in the marina -- September 2025. The available moorage has premium and unobstructed views of Lake Union. Our attached videos show this.

A survey is available from the owner's recent purchase. The owner added a lot of new furniture on the sundeck and salon. All batteries were replaced and all electrical systems were checked.

This is a roomy 37' boat, with two comfortable staterooms and two heads. The available moorage and future live-aboard status on Lake Union is also a special feature/opportunity.
